GRATEFUL - GEAR 3

Wake up and be thankful that, today, you can appreciate, spread love, feel empowered and CHANGE for the better! Change today! Don’t wait for tomorrow.
Be mindful of the energy around you, and grateful for the people who support you on your journey. Positive energy is so vital for a healthy mind and body.
As you work through Gear 3, take some time to reflect on the people in your life. How do you feel around these people? Do you feel free to express yourself, your thoughts and opinions? Can you be yourself?
Do the people you associate with have qualities of character that you aspire to achieve? Do they motivate you to want to grow, improve and achieve your personal best? Identify those people who bring positives to your life, and who, if anyone, brings negatives, criticisms, or lack of support.
Make every effort to focus your time and energy on the positive people in your life. Let them support and help build you up. Do the same for them, in return!
Smile more! Compliment more! Say your “Thank You’s” more often. By doing so, YOU will become the positive influence in someone else’s life!
Now...
The word “Now” is a very powerful word. With just 3 small letters, it remains a huge word! “Now” is really all we have. We have no real control over the next 30 minutes from now. We can’t really change what was done or said yesterday. Right now is where we need to be. Right now is known as “The Precious Present” and it’s where we want to focus our efforts.
Are you journaling your thoughts, gratitudes and discoveries? If not, why not start NOW? Treat yourself to a special, personal pen, writing tablet, special stationary, or a nice journal. Choose something that draws you in and makes your journaling time special.
Whether a legal tablet or a journal, the right paper and pen can make the experience personal, inviting, enjoyable and YOURS!
Try to spend some quiet time, daily, to jot down what you’re grateful for, an awakening you’ve had, etc. In addition, record each day at least a few lines of positive affirmations, such as:
"I am feeling better every day "
“I am a kind person who touches the lives of others in a positive way.”
“I am actively moving toward my goal of becoming the best version of myself that I can!"
“I will go out into the world today, with a smile, and let my light shine for all to see”
“I will embrace my NOW, and stay in the “Precious Present!”
Today. It’s the tomorrow, you worried about yesterday. Don’t spend it...certainly don’t waste it...regretting yesterday or worrying, again, about tomorrow.
