GEAR 3 - Inflammation


     We want to learn a little about the importance of inflammation, or more precisely, the ways to get rid of it in our body. This is a very broad topic, with multiple causes and profound implications.

     Inflammation is a leading cause for most chronic diseases. In this brief discussion, we will be looking at some of the main causes of inflammation.

     Inflammation often originates from the beverages we drink and the foods we eat.  These are discussed in the "ELIMINATE" and "ADD" sections of your Gear.

 Inflammation is often caused by  stress. The root of that stress can be over-exercising our bodies; not making time for fun or pleasure in life; working a pressure filled job(s); experiencing bad relationships or money problems; excessive alcohol use; effects of certain medical prescriptions; drug abuse; gut-health issues; hormonal problems; and the list goes on.

You can make healthy changes in both your lifestyle and eating habits, but, if you have chronic stress, you will not achieve the full potential of optimal health. In fact, the stress alone could kill you!

     We will address some of these issues of inflammation and stress in the “GRATEFUL”  "REST"  "EXERT"  and "DISCOVER" sections of this Gear.

     One of the first things that can be done, to deal with inflammation, is to be Grateful, so...
